This method will work for any tomato that requires peeling.
Boil a pan of water, ensuring that the pan is large enough to hold the tomatoes.
Fill a bowl with very cold water.
Using a small vegetable knife at the heel, cut a cross through the tomato skin at the base of the tomato.
Place the tomatoes in the boiling water for 30 secs to one minute.
Using a slotted spoon, remove the tomatoes from the boiling water and place in the cold water. This will stop the heat from continuing to cook the flesh under the skin.
Once the tomato is cool enough to handle, peel of the skin, placing ready for use.
