Pull the leaves from the parsley stalks.
Wash well, even pre-packed parsley is full of soil.
Dry with kitchen roll.
Gather parsley on the board.
Using an 8 inch kitchen knife.
Slice through the gathered parsley
Then using the rocking motion continue to slice and turn the parsley over on the board.
These actions will ensure that all the leaves will be cut uniformly.
To obtain parsley that is dry for effective sprinkling, dry the chopped parsley in kitchen towel.
